Bougainvilla-Hermitage Retirement Village is surrounded by every facility. The church is a 10 min walk away so also the temple. Hospitals, clinics and other medical facilities are a short distance away. The famous Mapusa market is 5 km away. Besides, the multi-purpose hall in the Village can be used for inter-religious services.
Infrastructure:
- How is the Village made compatible for Senior Citizens?
The Village will be equipped with non-skid paths, rails, 24-hour accessible reception service, wheelchair friendly toilets with grab rails and many other items, equipment and services to ensure the safety and security of seniors.
- Do you have an electrical back-up system?
Yes. The Village will have its own electrical back-up generator, with a capacity to run all facilities.
- What do I do for daily provisions?
The Village will have a mini mart which will provide fresh fruit, vegetable, poultry and other groceries.
Construction:
- Is the Village eco-friendly?
The construction, equipment and facilities provided will be of the highest quality. Equipment such as solar water heaters, water recycling system, rain water harvesting and many other conservation techniques will be deployed to recycle valuable resources sensibly, thus ensuring the Village is eco-friendly. Bougainvilla Hermitage will also engage in community tree plantation and water harvesting programmes.
- Are the apartments furnished?
Bougainvilla-Hermitage provides modular kitchens, fitted ACs, smoke detectors, lights, fans and grab rails in toilets. You are free to bring your own furniture and personal belongings.
General:
- Who can reside in Bougainvilla-Hermitage?
Couples or singles are welcome to reside at the Village provided one of the two persons is able-bodied and at least one of them is 50 plus at the time of occupation.
- What are the medical facilities available?
The Village will have its own infirmary with a nurse station and doctor on call. Additionally, there are renowned hospitals a few kilometres away for critical care.
Financial Assistance:
- Can I avail of a bank loan?
All assistance will be provided to avail of a bank loan from our bankers HDFC and IDBI Bank, besides a reverse mortgage scheme is also available, as long as the applicant qualifies and meets the criteria/norms set by the financial institution. We will even stand guarantor for you with the Bank.
Maintenance and Management:
- What is the monthly maintenance fee?
Monthly maintenance fee includes the actual maintenance and operational
cost for the common areas as well as common services of the Village,. This is calculated on the basis of “per square foot of the super built-up area" of each apartment
- What is the Management Deposit?
Management deposit, payable at the time of possession, will be utilised for the managerial and administrative activities of the Village, thus ensuring the smooth functioning to meet and maintain high standards of efficiency on a day-to-day basis.
- Who will manage the Village administration?
Village administration will be managed by a subsidiary company of Bougainvilla Hermitage Pvt Ltd or an appointed agency/company, which will ensure that the high standards of facilities, amenities and quality services will be maintained all year round.
- Will the Village Administration maintain my apartment?
A rapid-response maintainance team will be available to facilitate immediate action of wear and tear of services, whenever requried. However, actuals of material and replacement will have to be borne by the resident.
- How can we be assured that the facilities in the Village will always be well-operated and maintained?
A well-experienced company will be in charge of day to day administration, supervision and management of the Village. The apartment owners can become members of a “Residence Committee”. This Committee will appoint a “Council of Representatives” who will interact with the company to work for the betterment of the Village and its residents.
